Company Presentation Chef
I am currently looking to recruit a Development / Presentation Chef to work for a successful family run business based in the West Midlands but supplying the UK
Main responsibilitiesGenerate a planned approach to customer and Account Manager requirements - Must understand all areas of the food service within contract catering and the end users.Continuously researching the market, through market trend analysis, current food trends, high street trends and consumer insight. Providing commercial direction to the Sales Team on food trends and development in consumer tastes. Facilitating and supporting the Production/Technical Departments and the Sales Team by training, developing and inspiring the team to deliver the product.Plan, organise and deliver presentations. Liaising with the Sales Team to ensure all requirements are delivered for each presentation. Working alongside key individuals, responsible for the promotion and marketing of the brand. Including involvement with food styling and photography.Conducting taste panels for existing and proposed new products.Evaluating the success of new products in their markets.Ensure excellent communication channels with the customer. Responding to Head Office requests promptly.Submit management data in the allocated time frame.Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Ideal candidateReal foodie chef with great knowledge of current food tendsExperience working in a culinary/catering roll.Passion for great food and excellent service deliveryAbility to demonstrate outstanding culinary skillsAbility to deliver presentations to all levels confidently and accuratelyAbility to analyse and evaluate informationAbility to work on own initiative but within a framework
The head office is based in Walsall but the candidate can based anywhere in the West Midlands as sometimes will be required to travel around the UK for presentations.
