We manage utilities (electricity, gas and water) for a range of private and public clients. Based near Burton on Trent we are seeking a new member of our management team.
Managing utility billing process for private clients and liaison with both energy users and client representatives.
You will be managing the collection of meter readings from multiple UK sites including data collection from smart metering and collation of manual meter readings by field operatives.
You will be processing meter readings through our bespoke billing management software and issuing final bill calculations to clients.
You will be handling billing queries from energy users.
Your role will include liaison with energy users to ensure payment of calculated invoices issued through our bespoke software is made and reporting back to clients.
Some key aspects of role:·The candidate must have a high level of competence on excel spreadsheets.·A good operation computer standard.·Excellent numeracy skills.·Good planning and time management skills.·Good communication skills (fluent English both oral and written and able to construct competent emails and a good telephone manner)·Ability to work with database programs (we use bespoke systems that you would be trained on)
You will be working to time deadlines each month throughout the month and will be organized in your approach to your work.
Prepared to travel as required by the role (you should hold a valid UK driving license).
The role shall have a notice period (for employee) of not less than 3 months.
Working hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday with 1hr deemed lunch.
Salary: From £20,000 per annum
