Our Steelpark site in Wolverhampton is the largest operational facility within our Tata Steel Distribution UK & Ireland (TSDUK&I) division. The site comprises of 4 operating businesses including Automotive, Slitting Centre, Decoiling Centre and Profiling.

About this role

We are currently looking to recruit for a Manager Pricing & Digital Development. Within the role, you will develop and execute pricing policies within TSDUK&I to maximise value creation for our European operations and to lead the business adoption and exploitation of digital strategies.

The incumbent of the role will lead the implementation of all digital strategies, redefining existing business processes and embedding new ways of working across TSDUK&I. These will include; e-selling, EDI and pricing

Some of the duties within the role will include but not limited to:

Pricing

To lead, and be responsible for, the overall delivery of pricing benefits, in TSDUK&I, through 'tailored' and 'long tail' pricing approaches in support of Delivering our Future. Develop tools and analysis that support sales teams in optimising mix and value capture.

Develop and execute the 'Price Book' for TSDUK&I to ensure alignment with central pricing policy, but ensuring that it is 'fit for purpose' for TSDUK&I in order to deliver strategic objectives. The 'Price Book' will need to be all weather, ie, applicable in both rising and falling markets, as well as dealing with both TSE supplied and imported products.

Digital

To be the lead contact for all Digital developments prioritising developments in order to give the greatest benefit to TSE. Drive the change process throughout TSDUK&I, through the creation of the Digital programme's compelling story and the establishment of processes and mechanisms for leadership reinforcement of the new digital ways of working

Project Management of all Digital developments from central initiatives. Managing their impact whilst driving deployment through to business as usual, ensuring project deliverables are completed within planned timescales

What are we looking for?

We are looking for effective manager who has extended experience in selling. It is essential that the jobholder has highly developed leadership and influencing skills, capable of being used with customers, suppliers and colleagues.

The role holder should have exceptional interpersonal, analytical and project management skills coupled with the creative ability to identify avenues of new opportunity for future growth and business expansion.
