Birmingham City Council is one of Europe's leading local authorities. We are looking for an Assistant Housing Officer to join Birmingham City Council on an ongoing temporary basis. This exciting opportunity is based in Lea Hall.
Your new role
To assist the Housing Officer to deliver consistent, excellent, reliable customer focused Housing Management undertaking the full range of housing management duties. Some of these duties include: investigating and responding to complaints and queries, preparing and presenting internal and external reports and assist with carrying out surveys, site visits and inspections.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a professional individual who is highly organised in managing work and time within agreed priorities and timescales. You have experience in this role or a similar role. You MUST have access to your own transport due to the role requiring visiting properties/citizens across the east side of the city. You must have effective verbal; written and IT communication skills; you will be dealing with confidential information and must be able to maintain accurate records.
What you'll get in return
You will enjoy an hourly rate of £8.45p/h with a premium rate of £9.47 which includes your holiday entitlement.
