Accounts Receivable Administrator - Wolverhampton - to £18k

Our Client

We are working with a well-established organisation who supplies major businesses across the UK and mainland Europe. Based in Wolverhampton, they offer bespoke products and services within a variety of market places. They are in a major growth phase currently, and we are now seeking an additional AR Administrator for their finance team to support the expansion plan.

The Role

The AR Administrator role is a great opportunity to join a business that is ahead of the curve in terms of its commercial growth activity. It is a challenging role, and will require someone with a solid skill base and positive attitude.

Specifically, the role will involve the following tasks:

  • Processing payments and allocating receipts
  • Issuing customer refunds and dealing with the associated ledger adjustment
  • Resolution of queries resulting from invoicing
  • Accurate data entry onto the system and updating spreadsheets
  • Detailed account reconciliations
  • Monitoring of inter-company payments & administering amendments where necessary
  • Statement recs
  • Working closely with the sales team to ensure invoice inaccuracies are corrected
  • Ad hoc admin and sales support tasks

The AR Administrator will be a valued member of this vibrant and business-critical team.

The Person

The successful AR Administrator is likely to have solid foundations in all fundamental areas of a financial transaction, in particular within the sales ledger area, with a likelihood that you are seeking an opportunity to expand your experience into a larger and more complex organisation. The candidate we seek will have a strong knowledge of Excel, including formulas, and have a confidence & organisational capability that allows them to manage their own time and hit tight month end deadlines.
