This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing technology company as a Software Developer Team Leader. The company have been established for over 10 years and have shown continual growth throughout this time.

The Senior Software Developer is responsible for interpreting Business Requirement’s into IT solutions & develop the solution design, obtain business approval & then deliver multiple & simultaneous technology initiatives. Responsible for the management of the Development team, distributing work & sprint planning through to development of the team through problem solving. The technology developed must contribute to the overall success of the Head of Transformation objectives to reduce costs & defects whilst improving the overall customer experience.
Specific duties include planning and execution of multiple projects to meet delivery requirements via:
§Review Business Requirement documentation
§Design and document the technical solution to facilitate the business requirements
§Investigate and implement the correct technologies to deliver the business needs
§Mentor other developers to ensure they have the necessary skills required to execute their job function
§Assist in the development of timing plans along with key milestones & critical path to deliver
§Manage the sprint planning & the development team work allocation
§Risk assess and when required provide mitigation strategies for all business requirements which may adversely affect the delivery of the technology platform
§Tracking of project status, requirements, design, testing, deployment and launch throughout the project life cycle.
§Carry out weekly (as required) reporting, documentation & project health.
§Manage & deliver all aspects of the build functions into BAU.
§Peer review technical solutions to ensure business continuity
§Implement technical solutions to the agreed specification and timescales
§Attend weekly develop led testing sessions to improve build quality
§Defect resolution
§Research, suggest and where applicable implement best patterns and practices in line with industry standards

The ideal background would be:
§software development experience
§C# experience
§HTML experience
§JavaScript experience
§web-development experience
§RDBMS experience (preferably SQL Server)
§Previous knowledge of Salesforce APEX
§Previous experience of leading a team
§Previous experience of solution architecture (Advantageous)
§Previous experience of working with Agile methodologies (Advantageous)
§Previous experience of mentoring team members
§Proficient in documentation creation to include: SAD, UML, Use case specifications, PID, SOW, Change control RAID, and RAG reporting.

Qualifications and knowledge required for the role:
§BSc Computer science (or equivalent)
§Agile Practises & certification
§Proficient in the use of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Visio)
§Telecommunications regulatory information would be advantageous.
§ISO 9000/ISO 9001

This role is commutable from Tamworth, Wolverhampton, Leicester, Stafford, Ashby, Lemmington Spa to name a few.
