Overview of role:

  • This is a technical role within the IT function reporting to the Retail Application Support Manager
  • This role is responsible for providing in-depth IT technical as well as administrative support of web and other digital services along with supporting a number of Retail Applications.
  • The role will work with the Retail Application Team, and stakeholders across the business to support internally and externally provided mobile, CRM and web services and retail applications.
  • This role is based in Burton.

?? We are looking for a candidate with experience of supporting Web Based Applications and would like the variety of working with other key retail systems and suppliers.

?? This is a technical role within the IT function reporting to the Retail Application Support Manager

?? This role is responsible for providing in-depth IT technical as well as administrative support of web and other digital services along with supporting a number of Retail Applications.

?? The role will work with the Retail Application Team, and stakeholders across the business to support internally and externally provided mobile, CRM and web services and retail applications.

?? This role is based in Burton.

Responsibilities:

?? Understand digital technologies and services being used by Greene King business.

?? Providing technical support for mobile, CRM and web applications used in GK.

?? Supporting the Retail & Core Service Desks to digital issues are identified and resolved quickly and efficiently.

?? Work with third party suppliers that deliver outsourced services, including Zone, Celerity, Propeller, ORM, Zonal, to identify and resolve problems and manage supplier issues.

?? Provide technical support and guidance to the Change & Problem Manager.

?? Investigation and resolution of Incidents, and Problems within the applications supported by the Retail Application Team

?? Work in conjunction with the key stakeholders inside and outside IT, to identify opportunities to improve best practice and effectiveness of web solutions, and future technologies.

Skills:

Knowledge

?? Although not essential, It is desirable to have experience of Retail or Hospitality sectors and an understanding of technologies and services in use.

?? Knowledge of the use and application of digital services in the retail sector or hospitality sector.

?? Strong understanding and demonstrable practical experience of supporting Web Based Applications

?? Have a great approach to problem solving

?? Able to find pragmatic and effective technology solutions to business problems.

?? Excellent communication skills and ability to work with key stakeholders and develop strong relationships
