Proactive Personnel Ltd are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of their client based in Birmingham. We are currently recruiting the role of a Sales Administrator to join an existing team. Our client is a well established company offering exciting opportunities for Candidates who are looking for development and progression.

the Job Role:

  • To ensure all customers receive the best possible service
  • To offer excellent communication with customers and internal staff
  • To liaise with the external sales team to process and gain orders
  • To process orders as quickly and efficiently as possible ensuring the customer receives the goods / service on time
  • To be seen as a main contact for designated customers, including building a good rapport with customers and ensuring the contract is running smoothly and is invoiced correctly
  • Work with sales to create sales growth
  • Work closely with the depots and logistics teams to make sure we achieve on time delivery
  • All other duties as requested by the Customer Service Manager or Directors
  • Administrative duties as required, including reports, spreadsheets, etc.

Experience / Requirements:


  • Relevant sales/customer services related experience
  • At least 1 year's relevant account management experience
  • Ability to work to and meet deadlines
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Can offer exemplary customer service


  • Knowledge of Jobshop (Javelin)
  • Production, Planning, Control System
  • All MS Office Product Knowledge
