My client is a expanding telecommunications group.
As a result of continued success we are looking to recruit a confident IT Support Exec.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Answering the phones in the NOC
• Providing 1st and some 2nd line support
• Create tickets to record events/incidents using the Spectra ticketing system.
• Maintain the Spectra ticketing system to enable tracking/auditing and handover of faults
• Deal with SIM card and BGAN queries
• Escalate faults up the chain to 2nd/3rd line Engineers
The required knowledge/skillsets for the NOC Support Staff are:
• Technical, analytical, interpersonal and organisation skills
• working knowledge of up-to-date desktop applications
• Knowledge of the following is preferred:
• Windows Servers, workstations, MS Exchange, Skype for business, Cisco IOS including ISR, ASR's, Catalyst. Cisco Firepower, MS VDI, System Centre, OpManager, CatTools, Syslog, McAfee, WDS
• Ability to communicate in an understandable, polite and friendly manner, both written and verbal
• Ability to work well with others, as well as independently. Attention to detail.
• Able to work alone, unsupervised on a shift roster
• Ability to multi-task in a small business environment
• Good sense of humour required
