Sutton School and Specialist College, is looking to recruit a School Administration Manager – Finance, from February 2018. This is a full time position for 40 weeks per year (term time plus one week).

You will be working to manage a busy office within our lively secondary age special school, rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted.

All candidates are subject to an enhanced DBS, references and Barred checks. Sutton School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils and expects every candidate to share this commitment.

This is a varied and demanding role that comes with many responsibilities. You will be expected to:

• Manage all business administration tasks within school • Manage financial records and school budgets inc. SFVS • Oversee recruitment • Manage HR records (including the single central register) • Premises management • Manage staff and pupil information • Ensure that all school policies are up to date • All other administrative tasks as required. To apply to this role you will need the following: • Recent administrative experience in a school environment • Experience of school accountancy procedures and budget monitoring • Experience of managing staff • A good working knowledge of school management systems • Experience of premises management and ability to work alongside the site manager.
