Our client in Welshpool is recruiting for a Financial / Administration Assistant.

The ideal candidate for this role should maintain accurate and timely financial data using SAGE 50 Accounts Plus.

The main responsibilities for this role will be:

- Sales ledger - Customer invoices
- Compile approx. 270 monthly customer invoices from Trade recycling and waste collections
- Update ledger and manage aged debtors
- Update customer accounts with receipts via cheques and bacs
- Investigate and resolves customer queries received via email and telephone
- Purchase ledger - Supplier invoices
- Input supplier invoices to purchase and nominal ledger using nominal and department codes
- Check monthly supplier statements
- Reconcile bank account from sales and purchase ledger
- Prepare supplier payments for monthly bacs payments

The ideal candidate for this position should have the following skill set:
- Use and experience of Sage accounts and Microsoft Office
- Accurate and quick data entry
- Approachable and flexible with the ability to multi task

The hours for this position are 15 - 22.5 and flexible on days.
