Brief details of the position:

A Building Maintenance Assistant is required to join a leading Mechanical, Electrical and Fabric property maintenance company. This is a great opportunity for a Building Maintenance Assistant to be static in Hereford.
A vacancy has arisen for the post of Site Services Officer at a High School based in Hereford. Specific experience at a day-to-day operational level to suit the environment.

Other than formally qualified, a person with the ability to deal with tasks that do not require formal qualifications, after instruction by an appropriately skilled person experienced in dealing with various building services issues that may cover:

Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive Tasks to:
• Mechanical and Electrical, Plumbing and buildings
• Daily set up of furniture for school requirements
• Waste management
• External areas
• And others as they arise as this list is not exhaustive

Main duties and responsibilities

To implement the building services planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programme and Reactive Maintenance in accordance with the building operating manuals and in compliance with the contract service levels.

General Duties

• To implement mechanical, electrical and fabric PPM in accordance with the O&M Manuals and service levels to their skill level
• Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the site as a whole
• To implement and co-ordinate the activities of specialist subcontractors into the PPM programme.
• To carry out RM in response to Help Desk requirements in compliance with the contract service level outputs
• To report back to the Help Desk and FM on completion of PPM and RM tasks
• To provide information in support of contract reports supplied to the Trust
• To support the Site Manager / Regional FM in all aspects of delivering the FM services contract
• Daily setting up of furniture for school requirements
• Other duties as may be required from time to time depending on the needs of the business

Desirable Experience

• A broad knowledge of building services.
• Preferably qualified in a trade, either Fabric or Technical but not essential.
• A reasonable knowledge of plumbing and heating systems
• Good building fabric awareness

A DBS (Criminal Records Bureau) check will be required to be undertaken, at Integral's cost.

Salary: Competitive, to be discussed at interview.
