Job Title: Payroll Advisor - UK

Our client is a well-known business based in Nuneaton; Warwickshire. They are actively recruiting for a Payroll Advisor to join them on a permanent basis. You will need to have good experience of processing UK Payroll from start to finish, including manual calculations.

Main Purpose of the Role:

The purpose of this role is to ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time

Roles and Responsibilities

Processing payroll start to finish for weekly and monthly paid staff
Collating and reconciling employee hours on a weekly basis from clocked and approved shifts
Collating and validating new starters, leavers and employment changes for calculation
Absence recording ensuring terms and conditions are applied
To adhere to improvement plan and changes
Processing P45s and starter checklists for Real Time Information
Dealing with employee and government agency queries
National Statistic returns

Qualifications Required
About you

Minimum of 2 years payroll experience is essential, processing start to finish
Enjoy working with the wider Shared Service Team
Ability to grasp and adhere to payroll improvement e.g. new systems and business culture
A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Must have a positive can do attitude and enjoy a providing a high level of service
Have a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet
Ability to work under own initiative and demonstrate a proactive attitude
