This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing IT team as part of their 3rd line function, specialising in Microsoft-stack technology as a Senior IT Support Engineer. You will be joining an established business, with a global presence, and a large UK headquarters in Warwick.

Client Details

- Michael Page are representing an established manufacturing and production business who have a rich history stretching back to the 1960s.
- With offices across the globe, the business have now grown to generate annual revenues in excess of £500m, and an employee base of more than 4,000.
- The organisation has enjoyed a high level of success in the last year, and as a result, they are expanding their IT function, and have a new opening for a Senior IT Support Engineer.


- As the Senior IT Support Engineer, you will be working in an autonomous environment, covering all aspects of IT support, and have the chance to take ownership of company-wide infrastructure from the Warwick site.
- You will be working in a streamlined team, and cover responsibilities across both 2nd and 3rd line, working on both project-based work and BAU support, as well as elements of system administration.
- You will support a UK userbase in excess of 600 staff, and cover an array of technologies, including a Windows Server estate made up of a mixture of both Hyper V and VMware virtualised servers.
- The role will require a slightly earlier start of 7am, with an earlier finish of 3pm, to allow the correct level of support at the right time.


As the Senior IT Support Engineer, you will be experienced in the following technologies:

- Windows Server 2008-2012 (installation, builds from scratch).
- Microsoft Exchange Server 2010-2016 (migration).
- Virtualisation - ideally Hyper V / VMware.
- Active Directory.
- Database backups.

Job Offer

£32,000-£33,000 + corporate benefits.
