Cubiq Recruitment has an opportunity for a Technical Support Officer to join a successful, award winning business based in Staffordshire. Our client is a global technical organisation who specialise in manufacturing advanced products and systems, focusing on gas solutions. They're a rapidly expanding industry, who is already highly recognised with more than 30 years experience!

We are seeking for an experienced and skilled Technical Support Officer to join a young, highly progressive technology firm and be involved in many of the company's projects.

Your key responsibilities include the following:

- Writing Technical documentation with direction from the software team.
- Completing documentation to a good standard and in a timely manner.
- Following direction from the software team, - complete all paperwork required including quality control forms and reports.
- Reviewing Documentation.
- Responding to internal and external customers on behalf of engineers.
- Managing the software archive and ensuring each archived copy is properly documented.
- Liaising with clients to issue Designs, TQ's and RFI's on behalf of the Software Department.


- Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team.
- Attention to detail.
- Willingness to take ownership/responsibility of task.
- IT literate, including MS Office programmes.
- Experience of working in an Engineering environment.
- Commercial awareness.
- The ability to prioritise their own workload and work unsupervised when required meeting Project deadlines.
- A flexible approach to their working practices.
