Commercial Insurance Account Handler - Derby to work within a successful and progressive brokers.
As an experienced Account Handler you will work through the administration of small to medium sized commercial client’s insurance requirements on a daily basis. This includes administration of renewal, associated endorsements, obtaining quotations, claims handling and accounting procedures. Distribution of post and associated mail items within office, Renewal case management for commercial dept and others as appropriate, Distribution of diary items, Dealing with incoming queries from customers, insurers and other third parties, Administration of renewal documentation, renewal quotations, MTA’s, claims and accounting procedures Oral and written communications to clients, insurers and other Third parties, Negotiation of selected renewals. Action of all personal communications i.e. verbal conversations, Emails etc.
The successful candidate will enjoy working within a excellent environment and alongside like minded colleagues. What we seek from you is a good understanding of the general insurance market and products with the knowledge to place and manage business with insurers as well as assisting clients with your technical understanding of their risks. If you have a personal lines background and keen to make the move into commercial we will also consider.
