FAADE CONSULTANT (ON SITE INVESTIGATIONS & MONITORING)
Part of your duties will be to attend site to carry out a range of services that include:
- undertaking façade failure investigations
- providing condition surveys of the facades of existing building
- monitoring and advising on the work of the façade subcontractor
Following each site visit you will then produce detailed technical reports that document your findings along with recommended actions.
Minimum Qualifications: A degree in an engineering, architectural or construction related discipline.
Training: If not already fully qualified you will be expected to undertake a Master’s Degree in Façade Engineering at the University of the West of England in Bristol. Costs of this will be met by Wintech.
The Candidate: You will have worked in the curtain wall and cladding industry and have an appreciation of the technologies, techniques and various materials employed in façade engineering and structural or services engineering. You must understand the key technical performance characteristics and modes of erection of various façade systems and be able to produce reports to the highest standard.

Location: Ideally based at our Head Office on Pendeford Business Park in Wolverhampton, WV9 5HA, however consideration will be given to working at our London office.
