I have a truly unique opportunity for a high energy, change oriented Head of People & Culture to join my client on a 6-12 month contract, starting mid-October

Based in the West Midlands, my client is an entrepreneurial, highly acquisitive business who are on a quick growth trajectory

The Role

Reporting into the CEO and sitting as part of the executive team, you will work with a challenging and highly intellectual workforce, leading the people strategy, alongside the management of sale and acquisition activity

Key Accountabilities

  • Drive the people and culture agenda across the business
  • Lead a small but high performing HR team.
  • Overseeing the management of recruitment needs in a market which has a severe skills shortage
  • Welcoming acquisitions and having frontline TUPE conversations
  • Lead the people workstream for sale, including due diligence activity, OD and change

Key Experience/ Skills

  • A fantastic Head of HR, who was worked within a multi-site environment
  • Experienced of working in a 'non corporate' highly entrepreneurial environment
  • Highly articulate and engaging, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage and challenge strong personalities
  • Must have acquisitions experience and buy and build operations experience

This role is an FTC for a minimum for 6-12 months. Although the main base would be in West Midlands, there will be travel required to other sites across the UK

The package on offer is £65,000 - £70,000 + travel expenses, 30 days annual leave + bank holidays and private medical
