Senior Control Operator ( Supervisor/Contact Centre/Customer Services)

Care + Custody Health, a Mitie Group Company, are recruiting a brand new team to supervise and support centralised operational activity from our new hub in B81AU.

About Us

We currently deliver forensic healthcare services to thirteen police forces and prisons and conduct over 100,000 medical interventions every year in over 50 police custody facilities and prison environments throughout England and Wales.

Our experienced healthcare professionals are on hand 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to ensure that patients are assessed, their health needs addressed, and to support the police in conducting forensic medical examinations to gather evidence to support the criminal justice system.

About You

Based in our new bright and airy offices at Newton Park, you will be a key member of a dedicated Care + Custody Control Centre team, liaising via phone with our police force partners and allocating in excess of 100,000 calls per year, 24/7 and 365 days a year.

Your key objective will be to supervise and work alongside a small team ensuring the deployment of our healthcare professionals to deliver their expertise in the right place, at the right time.

This new role will involve working both day and night shifts of 7 and 12.5 hour duration over a 42 hour week, on a 12 week rolling rota.

Your Skills

- Previous contact centre / call centre/ Control Centre experience is desirabl
- Previous experience of supervising a small team is desirable.
- Ability to build good customer relationships.
- High Standard of Customer Care.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Good listening skills
- Organised with excellent time management skills
- IT literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email) and the ability to grasp telephony solutions.
- Good level of verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work to strict SLAs.
- Able to accurately record data
- Ability to multi task under pressure.
- Enjoys working in a team.
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS Check.
