Software Development Trainer - West Midlands - Full-Time & Permanent - £35,000 - £40,000

Are you an experienced Programming or Software Development Trainer? Do you have experience of teaching various programming languages, such as, C# or C++ or JAVA or Python or HTML? Are you looking to help the minds of tomorrow within your industry?

A role has become available with one of the UK's fastest growing Providers of IT Skills Training. This Provider is graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted and delivers both Apprenticeships in the workplace and classes within their Training Centres. They are currently expanding their team and are looking for an Software Development Trainer.

This role is being offered on a full time permanent basis where you will be based from the centre, working with classes of up to 20 learners aged 16-19yrs old. You will also support learners in the workplace. This role is to teach and train learners in a variety of programming languages including C#, C++, JAVA, Python or HTML.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years' solid experience within a similar role.

Previous experience and attainment of either PGCE and PTLLS are desirable, not essential (all equivalent qualifications also considered).

You must be knowledgeable within your sector and be confident to deliver full classes. You will be a self-starter and be able to reach well informed and clear decisions.

Excellent organisation, communication and administration skills.

Your specific responsibilities will include:

· Effectively managing a class

· Tracking learner progress

· Marking learner assignments

· Inspiring the minds of tomorrow

Your current experience will incorporate:

· Teaching experience

· Teaching qualification (i.e. PGCE/CTLLS or equivalent)

· Programming related qualifications or Degree

Experience using or delivering training of C# OR C++ OR JAVA OR HTML is essential

In return you will receive:

· A starting salary of £40,000pa
