NB The person we are looking for will have:

  • Between 2 and 4 years in a customer-facing business consulting, strategy or advisory role
  • Have exceptional analytical, problem solving and presentation skills
  • University degree from a top-tier university and strong A-levels, in Maths & Sciences
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

The role operates within a highly skilled team of Project Managers and Consultants who share an infectious enthusiasm for supporting corporate customers to achieve the very best results they can through a sophisticated range of technologies, products and services.

Corporate and Enterprise sized client have 00's and often 000's of vehicles on the road and typical examples of the way in which the Professional Services team work with clients to dervve benefits are:

  • Improving fuel consumption through the analysis of idling, harsh driving events and miles per gallon data, saving our customers huge amounts from their fuel bills
  • Analysing the way in which vehicles are used within a fleet, and using statistical analysis to profile their use and recommend vehicles for removal from the fleet
  • Using our extensive driver data to demonstrate inefficient working practices within a business.
  • This can range from long journey analysis highlighting poor planning to timesheet verification, reducing overtime and ensuring the working day is used to its full capacity
  • Other projects include environmental impact assessments, expert witness statements and workers council briefings.The work is varied and requires data analytical and presentation skills to help our customers achieve more.


1. End-to-end delivery of consulting engagements
  • Scoping projects (in collaboration with Sales) to ensure focus on opportunities to increase ROI for the customer and maintain satisfied customers and project deliverability
  • Defining and executing data and financial analysis - to diagnose, size and prioritise opportunities for customers
  • Turning this analysis into actionable recommendations
2. Supporting customers in putting recommendations into practice - realising the benefits of telematicsSupporting the enhancement of the Professional Services offering
  • Building a rich understanding of both products and those of competitors, in order to deliver expert advice to customers
  • Maintaining re-usable presentation material - keeping it looking fresh and technically up-to-date
  • Supporting the UK and global Professional Services teams in identifying new services to offer to customers, and enhancing delivery of existing service
  • 3. Actively building the Professional Services business

    • Promoting and selling Professional Services to new and existing customers, with specific focus on the additional value
    • Working with the sales teams to provide proposals based on standard and bespoke services
    • Speaking with authority to prospects and customers on varying levels, from simple questioning to complex interaction between organisations departments, and analysing the opportunity for helping a customer generate ROI
    4.Acting as a brand ambassador with our clients

    • Working with customers of all levels, whether operators, managers or directors - using excellent communication skills to ensure the value message is clear
    • Ensuring users have a great experience


    The right person for this Professional Services Consultant role is likely to have:

    1. Between 2 and 4 years in a customer-facing business consulting, strategy or advisory role

    2. Have exceptional analytical, problem solving and presentation skills

    • A structured, logical thinker - able to decompose clients’ questions into individual pieces of analysis
    • Great quantitative analysis skills, both in Excel and ideally some experience with tools like SQL or to a lesser extent Python and R
    • Able to communicate insights in a clear and concise manner - whether by email or slides, to both senior executives and operations teams on the ground
    3. A strong academic background

    • University degree from a top-tier university
    • Strong A-levels, including Maths / Sciences
    4. Strong written and oral communication skills in English; French language skills a bonus
