Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of quotations and proposals
* Detailed reviews of test specifications and test plans
* Consultation, preparation & technical evaluation of trials plan requirements
* Planning / delivery of multiple projects across multiple laboratories
* Technical engineering lead for projects under your control
* Management of all customer deliverables
* Scheduling of tasks to maximise the efficiencies for projects within your control
* Provide in-lab EV and Hybrid vehicle, component and sub-system test delivery
* Provide in-lab project consultancy and product awareness
* Equipment configuration within facilities
* Executing the project delivery in accordance with H-M procedures
* Maintain detailed and accurate test records in accordance with UKAS / ISO 17025 requirements
* Perform quality checks and data analysis on test output
* Accurate financial control through project budgets, tracking and reporting
* Resolution of test or project issues with assistance from other teams / members
* Perform project reviews and lessons learned on own projects
* Analyse and validate test results in preparation for report
* Prepare data packs and deliver detailed test summaries / formal reports on product programmes
* Business development technical support, specifically for the EV / Hybrid product sector
* Deliver continuous improvement projects to further enhance the department
* Support flexible working practises where business demands are required

Essential Knowledge and Skills:
* Demonstrate Project Management skills with emphasis on commercial awareness, tasking and accountability, service quality, and timely delivery
* Demonstrate an excellent understanding of the principles behind EMC test specifications and procedures
* Strong analytical, planning, organisational, and time management skills
* Proven background in process improvement projects
* Understanding and generation of H, S & E / Risk Assessment requirements
