Key Tasks

  • Delivery of sales opportunities and conversion of prospects to meet or better the survey sales budget
  • Accurate reporting and Management Information in line with company requirements
  • Identification of new sales opportunities both in terms of clients, sectors and products
  • Timely and accurate creation of proposals and quotations for clients to meet their needs
  • Client and relationship management with existing clients to protect and grow annual revenues
  • Accurate reporting and Management Information in line with company requirements
  • Compliance and promotion of company policy and procedures
  • Provide a transparent forward order book and reports to Management

  • Level 3 (GCSE / O Level) grade C or above in English, Maths and Science
  • Level 4 qualification or above in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) subject
  • Desirable

  • HND Level 5 or similar qualification or above in a Science, Engineering, Geography, Environmental, Business or similar related subject.
  • Level 3 qualification in Sales or Marketing
  • Experience

  • Dealing with a wide range of clients and requirements to convert initial enquiries into confirmed orders and using that opportunity to receive further enquiries
  • A proven track record of managing clients, generating business and meeting sales targets
  • Experience in delivery or sales in the Surveying sector
  • Proven experience of working in the production of sales forecasts and plans
  • Reporting of sales process through a CRM
  • Working in a team to deliver and exceed clients expectations
  • Negotiating commercial terms with clients to the company’s benefit
  • Experience within the identification of Expressions of Interest (EOI) and Completion of Pre-qualifications (PQQs) and tender documentation
  • Desirable

  • Experience of completing commercial documentation associated with receiving orders and recording finances
  • Experience of managing profit and loss and carrying out cost accounting
  • Creation of diversification strategies to develop market opportunities
