As a Business Development Executive, you'll be contacting prospective customers to identify those companies looking to review their system requirements and arrange qualified appointments for a Sales Consultant to attend.

This would be an excellent opportunity if you are looking start your sales career as we will provide full training and onboarding to ensure you are successful. We see this job as the first step in our sales division and ideally, you will be promoted to a Sales Consultant within 18-24 months.

Key roles and responsibilities include the following:

  • Make B2B calls approaching C Level Executives
  • Describe the product features and benefits along with any special offers
  • Profile each prospect, gather and document information about each company's systems
  • Persuade customers to accept a visit from a sales representative
  • Enter and maintain accurate notes onto our CRM, including opportunities booked, general notes, company profile information, dates for follow up calls and so on
  • Work with the Marketing team to manage designated call campaigns established on the 12 month campaign roadmap
  • Keep a detailed record of your monthly opportunity activity including pipeline financials related to the MRR / TCV on a proposed deal
  • Build a strong pipeline of 'warm' and 'hot' prospects as defined by your line manager
  • Research (using tools such as One Source / Linkedin) other key decision makers within the organisation
  • Provide clear and precise handover notes on any opportunities generated which should also include a copy of the call recording of the conversation
  • Meet the aforementioned KPI's as agreed by your line manager
  • Compliance with company information security policies and procedures, reporting incidents and ensuring necessary security procedures or activities are completed
