Our client, a long established venue on the outskirts of Bromsgrove is seeking a Conference Sales Coordinator to further strengthen their existing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for proactive & reactive calls (classic hunter/farmer combination), order processing and ongoing customer liaison
Duties will include:
Participate in the identification of sales leads and proactively seek new business opportunities
Day to day management of the booking system, ensuring timely and accurate recording of client requirements from enquiry through to arrival
Greet incoming clients, ensure satisfaction during their stay, and actively seek feedback after departure
Encourage repeat business through the establishment of good client relationships
Establish & maintain good relationships with existing conference agents, and identify & nurture new contacts
Demonstrate flexibility to meet evening & weekend customer demand where necessary, for show rounds, familiarisation trips, open days etc.
Develop a good understanding of the company's CRM System and ensure it is utilised to its maximum potential.
Carry out site visits in a professional & hospitable manner to new & existing clients with the view to confirming their business.
Applications are invited from candidates with a proven sales track record, ideally gained within a similar conference/events environment.
You should have excellent presentation skills, a good telephone manner, be highly self-motivated and committed & hardworking.
On offer is a basic salary in the region of GBP23,000 plus bonus scheme paying up to GBP4,000 per annum.
