An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client based in Burton Upon Trent as a Claims Management Officer. This contract runs on a basis of 37 hours per week, the rate of which is GBP11.38 per hour.

The Successful candidate will be required:
• To provide an excellent service in the regulations of the company across England and Wales.
• Ensure IT processes are maintained to provide an effective authorisation system.
• To plan and carry out investigations, surveys and research into issues and deal with issues of non-compliance effectively.
• Work with businesses providing advice and constructive ways of complying with legislative
• To provide information both statistical and narrative for the completion of return and reports
identifying non-compliance issues.
• To maintain systems for the receipt, analysis, allocation and investigation of complaints.
• To raise awareness of the regulations and promote the interests of consumers.
• To work with partner agencies.
• To undertake in-service training as required.
• Undertake any other duties required by management.

The post holder is required to contribute to the achievement of objectives through:

The ideal candidate will have the following:
• An appropriate qualification to Diploma level or equivalent experience in
• this area of work.
• GCSE English and Maths grade C or above

• Knowledge and Experience of:
1. Legal and / or enforcement knowledge and / or experience
2. Experience in a regulatory service / business compliance
3. Ability to deliver to Quality Assurance Standards
4. Ability to write reports
5. Practical application of windows based systems and databases

• Skills including:
1. Commitment to raising standards of business compliance.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
3. Research skills
4. To work as part of a team
5. Ability to record information accurately
6. To be able to use own initiative
7. Be prepared to work flexibly in order to meet operational demands
