Time Recruitment is currently aiding a large and prestigious private sector assisted living facility in their search for a Unit Manager. The service is located in Lickey and is restricted for public transport however there is a train station a few miles away.

The company has been established for over 25 years and offers industry leading care services with hospital standard clinical care for elderly residents requiring general and dementia nursing care.

This stunning facility offers exemplary standards in clinical care offering therapeutic dementia care and excellence in palliative and general nursing care. The site compromises of 84 nursing beds in total split between two units ensuring specialist care and skill mixing is upheld with healthy staffing numbers and an over accommodation of care staff.

In your role you will be a Unit Manager ensuring the clinical development of nursing staff and the professional development of care staff on a 25 bedded general nursing unit; ensuring all syringe driver/palliative care and end of life training and development is upheld and assisting the senior management team with the off duty rota; recruitment; inductions and assisting clinically where required yourself.

We are searching for a natural leader; a nurse trained manager with a passion for the development of others and high standards in clinical practise and excellence to promote this via your unit.

The service benefits from an excellent management structure; the home manager is herself a nurse and has an exceptional management background ensuring that the facility is compliant with CQC in all areas and was inspected recently.
