This leading privately-owned UK Company is looking to appoint a permanent Group Management Accountant to be based at their Derby office.

Salary up to £25k (depending on experience) plus study support.

This is a growing group of companies with 150 employees across 3 locations with excellent opportunities for career development.

You will work in an existing finance department and be involved in the following areas:

Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and group consolidated management accounts.

Reconciliation of inter-company transactions and account balances.

Analysis for the calculation and cross charging of management and other fees between group companies.

Development of profitability information by product/contract/customer and gross margin variances.

Analysis of management information and the development of management reporting.

Development of the improvements in the management accounting for Inventory control and of valuation and provision reports.

Assist the CFO in migrating off-line management accounting function to NAV including, but not limited to, intercompany modules, planning modules forecasting modules.

Assist in the preparation of plans and rolling forecasts for all group companies.

Assist the CFO and Financial Controller in the preparation of the various analysis required for statutory accounts reporting and tax reporting.

Provide support to the CFO and various managers across the group tasked with cost down and efficiency improvement initiatives.

Ad-hoc tasks, project work and analysis as required.

Job Requirements:

Graduate level Education;

Studying for a professional accounting qualification, CIMA/ACCA preferred;

Minimum of one year’s experience of working within in the industry in a financial/management accounting role;

Advanced Excel skills and Strong general IT application skills.
