I am currently recruiting for a Quality Manager to work on the outskirts of Birmingham city centre for a manufacturing business
Managing and Developing the Quality Control Processes to ensure compliance, continued accreditation and business improvements to ISO9001/2015 by managing, monitoring and constant improvement of procedures and products.
Be a key contributing member of the Leadership Team
MAIN TASKS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Develop the company's operating systems, with the aim of leading the company from ISO 9001-2008 certification to ISO9001-2015
Revise and update quality documentation and communicate lessons learned from quality concerns
Ensure that all necessary systems and procedures are in place to satisfy all customer requirements and audits
Verify closure of any non-conformities with Certification Bodies
Complete all documentation including PPAP; ISIR; IMDS.
Ensure constant innovation and improvement in procedures. Develop and implement new ways of working to ensure improved product quality and customer satisfaction.
Ensure all quality processes are implemented and followed. Instigate and deliver training where necessary.
Ensuring suppliers are reviewed and all drawings are up to date and worked to accurately
Liaise with customers to become approved suppliers.
Planning and execution of internal & external audits.Identify areas for improvement with processes, products and suppliers
Communicate with personnel at all levels, internally and externally to the Company, in relation to Quality matters
Work closely with Operations Manager to ensure efficient production planning.
Motivate teamwork and communicate as well as involve and train all employees when the need for new procedures or ways of working are required.
Manage customer nonconformity data base and provide detailed analysis of non-conformities
Maintaining periodic test requirements and product standards whilst building rapports with the relevant certification bodies
Complete inductions with staff on the company's policies regarding Quality and Health and Safety.
Completing statistical reports, full cost analysis and preventative planning in order to impact future productivity of the business.
Settings KPI's and devise and implement systems for continuous improvement.
Work closely with external Health & Safety advisor to ensure the Health and Safety at Work Act and any other relevant legislation is adhered to within the business,
Monday - Friday 0830-1700
Salary depending on experience £25,000-£35,000
