We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join our friendly client based on the outskirts of Coventry. This is a full-time position offering fantastic benefits and a competitive salary.

We are looking for candidates with previous experience in Payroll, who are able to hit the ground running. This role requires flexibility in line with the needs of the business and someone with the ability to work well with

Main responsibilities for the Payroll Administrator include:

  • Assisting HR with collecting pay data for new starters, changes etc…

  • Communicate with external payroll bureau

  • Checking payroll information before it is calculated by external payroll bureau

  • Preparation of payroll reconciliations

  • Managing all payroll queries

  • Translate payroll data into accounting journals, make re-allocation journals to reallocate costings and maintaining payroll reconciliations to accounts and HMRC

To be considered for the role of Payroll Administrator, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar position/accounting environment

  • IT literate, with experience using Word and Excel

  • High attention to detail

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Prioritise workload

You may also have experience in:

  • Payroll

  • Payroll Clerk

  • Payroll Administrator

  • Accounts Assistant

  • Finance Administrator
