We are recruiting for an experienced Accounts Administrator/Bookkeeper based in Northampton town centre


The successful Accounts Administrator will be responsible for, but not limited to: reconciliations, purchase ledger processing, sales ledger processing, dealing with queries, BACs runs, and dealing with internal and external stakeholders and other ad hoc duties are required. Candidates who have experience of Opera Management Accounting Package will be an added advantage.

The role is for someone who has a strong attitude and who wants to grow within a company and take responsibility. A 'can do' attitude is important.


• Salaries can be negotiated, dependant on the experience
• Working Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (including 1hr lunch break)
• Annual leave : Entitles 22 days + public & bank holidays
• Location: Northampton Town
• Free on site parking
• Probation period of 3 months
• Immediate start

Role of Accounts Administrator:

• All aspects of accounts up to trial balance includes, Management Accounts, Bank reconciliations, sales and purchase ledger, invoicing etc
• The candidate would also be required to deal with inbound and outbound calls, talking to customers and other members dealing with general enquiries
The successful candidate will have:
• Some experience within an accounts position - Essential
• Strong communication skills - Essential
• Opera III experience - Beneficial
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team - Essential
• Strong Excel spreadsheets skills (Advanced Excel Formulas) & proficient on Microsoft Office products- Essential
