JOB ROLE: Operations Accountant
LOCATION: Based Worcestershire
PACKAGE: GBP, pension, benefits, bonus

THE ROLE:
My client is a leading business with multi-sector operations and an excellent reputation in their field, looking for an Operations Accountant who also has Management Accounting experience as well as some Financial Accounting skills can provide support to a particular business unit in different locations.

We're not looking for a qualified / part-qualified accountant but someone with some good accounting experience in a large organisation and the ability to analyse, report on and understand what's going on 'on the ground' and how that is reflected in the accounts.

THE PERSON:

We'd like to talk to you if you have:

- Basic accounting qualifications with a breadth of experience in accounting and a bias towards management accounting.
- A good business understanding - ideally in a larger more complex logistics, FMCG, distribution or manufacturing type environment.
- Able to prepare and analyse periodic reports to a high standard.
- Ability to provide sound financial support to non-financial managers.
- Experience of stock, fixed assets etc.
- Good analytical skills and high numeracy.
- Strong Excel skills and experience in accounts / ERP software.
- Excellent communication skills verbally and in writing.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
