Our client, a housing association based in Staffordshire is looking for an IT Systems Analyst to join their IT team on a permanent basis. Due to a recent increase in workload an IT Systems Analyst is now required to provide day to day delivery of efficient and effective supportive IT systems throughout the business.

As the IT Systems Analyst, the main duties and responsibility will involve:

• Commence, develop and maintain comprehensive data reporting from Housing Systems that enable analysis of business performance
• Maintenance and upgrade of systems, hardware and software
• Training the users to ensure the organisation uses the benefits of IT
• Liaise with various in-house teams and external partners to manage IT projects across the company
• Provide expert analysis of existing Housing systems and assessing them for both technical and business suitability and help development of proposals for change
• Assess and evaluate new technologies and solutions to company need and technical compatibility
• Act as a 2nd line support to the Service Desk, ensuring that all user enquiries and support requests are accurately recorded and resolved efficiently

To be successful within the role of the IT Systems Analyst you need to have:

• Experience of SQL reporting
• System and project support experience
• Basic administration of Citrix and VMWare
• Knowledge Housing Sector System Software such as Capita Open Housing or MIS ActiveH and repairs management systems
• Professional IT Qualification: HND/HNC, MCITP/MCSE or equivalent and ITIL foundation Qualification
• Excellent Customer Service focus to provide quality and effective services to the customers of IT.
• Be able to setup and administration of housing systems, which requires advanced data analysis skills
