Area Sales Manager - Midlands

Our client is a FTSE blue chip service sector company seeking a driven, focused and goal oriented Area Sales Manager to manage and drive a team of Area Sales Executives.

The Area sales manager role will include:

- Management of a sales team responsible for selling a range of contract services.
- Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities within their existing and potential customer base.
- Develop and manage the sales strategy with the team.
- Manage and develop supplier base.
- Work to annual set budget and sales and cost targets.
- Provide regular report and analysis to head office management team.
- Develop new services.
- Work closely with telesales and marketing.
- Develop area pricing policies.

Area sales manager key attributes & essential requirements:

- Proven field based sales experience/ track record of selling service contracts.
- Self-starter with an intuitive nature.
- Financial and commercial acumen.
- Proven track record of working in a similar role.
- Proven track record of managing and developing a team of people.
- Excellent presentation skills.

The role offers the following package:

Basic: £45-50,000

Generous uncapped bonus
