Taking a new and innovative product to market, this exciting opportunity will enable you to work with Architects introducing a new product in the civils arena. With an attractive base salary on offer and fantastic career opportunities to boot, this a role not to be missed.

THE ROLE: As Specification Sales Manager, your role will be to primarily win specifications with Architects and within Local Authorities for your products. Conducting CPD seminars, you will be presenting a range of innovative products used by highways agencies, councils, town planners and designers. The application of our clients products are mainly used in the construction of roads and bridges and so a highways background is desirable but not essential in the role of Specification Sales Manager. The role is mainly centred around business development but leads are coming through from referrals and the website and so this role will require you to act on these enquires.

THE PERSON: If you wish to apply for the position of Specification Sales Manager, then you must have sold to local authorities and main contractors. Your experience would have been gained whilst selling heavy side construction products, ideally civils related. If you understand or have sold to highways agencies, then this would be ideal, however, this is not a prerequisite for our client, if you can show that you have sold to Local Authorities. Your ability to work autonomously and your desire to be the best are also qualities that you will make you stand out at interview.
