Aerospace and Automotive OEM

Basic £45k - £55k plus bonus, Executive level car, 25 days holiday, pension, health care.

The Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join a significant global player with a record of growth and profit; reflecting a company providing continual investment in its products, customers and people.

Develop and implement a local (UK & Ireland) business development strategy to achieve the sales and profit targets and long term business success.

Identify and develop Aerospace, Rail and Automotive market sector opportunities for product applications.

Generate sales enquiries through effective relationship building and gathering information from new business opportunities

Identifying opportunities, winning and signing new business deals and developing new business relationships.

Communicate the company's value add market proposition; accurately interpreting client needs; proposing suitable solutions and closing deals.

Preparation of high quality presentations and proposals for submission to clients in support of new business pitches and bid opportunities.

The Candidate

An accomplished Business Development Manager with demonstrated success at identifying and qualifying opportunities, setting appointments, pipeline building, negotiation, and closing sales to grow new business.Demonstrated success at identifying and qualifying opportunities, managing, sales related activities ideally with Distributors / end users / specifiers and system manufacturers in Aerospace Rail or Automotive OEM markets.

A fast moving self-starter; able to define own priorities and deliver projects working autonomously.

Ability to build trusted working relationships at various levels within a client's organisation.

Bright, enthusiastic and entrepreneurial, with a positive can-do attitude and a real desire to succeed.

Able to demonstrate persuasive and influential negotiation techniques in a customer-facing environment.

The successful applicant will be self confident and demonstrate excellent face-to-face communication skills.

A commercial approach with a clear focus on standards and quality.

Excellent personal presentation.

A result orientated Business Development Manager with a target driven personality who has the credibility to relate to customers on a technical level.
