We are working exclusively with a company that is currently going through a significant period of change, as a result they are now seeking a Bid Manager. You will join the commercial team on a journey of innovation, challenge and opportunity and play your part in further honing this growing organisation into a market leading company ready to face the future and lead the way.

This will be for an initial 6 month period with a view to enter in to a permanent contract.

My Client is an exciting multi-service which offers clients across the private and public sector a wide range of professional services including; Design, Construction, Facilities Management, Building Control.

They are currently looking to appoint a Bid Manager on a 6 month FTC basis (with a view to going permanent) with extensive bid management experience within construction and /or Facilities Services and an established history of winning both first and second stage bidding.As the Bid Manager, you will be responsible for managing the bid process from conception to completion, including all the commercial aspects associated to submitting a winning bid.

You will also be responsible for, but not limiting to;

Developing a biding strategy and structure to deliver on the construction projectsOverseeing the successful conversion of sales opportunities both for new and existing customers into profitable secured pipelineWinning the right work at the right margin and ensuring the right transition from bid to delivery team to support quality, safe delivery to profit plan.Ensuring we have the right capacity of all elements of bid capability to effectively and efficiently deliver the Bid strategy.Work with the directors to ensure tenders are filled and also with the operational teams to ensure that the tenders are viable commercially.To be considered for this opportunity, you must have, but not limiting to;

Extensive bid management experience within the industry with a proven track record of wining both 1st and 2nd stage biddingKey stakeholder managementCapable of communicating with directors and senior management, including building rapport with clientsAbility to generate quality response to bidsExperience managing a bidding team consisting of estimators, planners, quantity surveyors and bid coordinatorsBased in the West Midlands, this role will offers an excellent opportunity for a Bid Manager to have a huge amount of input and decision making in the process and growth of the company
