COMPANY:

A leading global supply chain software organisation are looking for an experienced (5+ years) Business Analyst to join them on a permanent basis. The position will be based in South Birmingham and will require you to be in the office 3 days per week, with up-to 2 days working from home.

ROLE:

The role of the Development Integration Business Analyst will be to help integrate my clients supply chain planning applications with other products in their portfolio, mainly with ERP systems. You will become familiar with an organisations supply chain planning business processes and would then translate those into information flows between the integrated products.

Required skills and experience

- Demonstrated experience as a business analyst for software applications.
- Experience in development and documentation of product definitions, stakeholder needs, product features, and corresponding functional specifications.
- Experience in software integration in the areas of supply chain management, supply chain planning and ERP.
- Knowledge of design techniques such as Use Cases, User Stories, and basic User Interface design.
- High level understanding of development processes.
- High level understanding of ETL processes.
- Solid skills in SQL.
- Self-motivated and self-managed with a high degree of analytical ability.
- Excellent communication in English - writing, speaking and presenting.

Beneficial skills and experience

- Experience with Supply Chain Management software, with a focus on the Supply Chain Planning. Examples are Manufacturing, Forecasting, Demand Planning, Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS).
- Experience with ERP systems

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, evaluate and define functional requirements, translate into functional design documents.
- Participate in the technical design, test planning and user documentation processes
- Communicate with multiple internal teams to deliver product's functional requirements.
- Ensure that the delivered software satisfies the specified functional requirements.
