We are looking for a HSE Coordinator to work on a permanent basis for a large manufacturing client in the Wolverhampton area.

Salary is c£20-25,000 per annum.

Our client is looking for someone with a strong Health and Safety background with experience of working in the manufacturing industry.

- Deliver requirements to satisfy HSE Policy, plan and implementation strategy, including support of system development, monitoring, review, audits and support of improvement opportunities
- Support activities associated with business accreditations and achievements - current and anticipated, including ISO14001, OHSAS18001 (ISO45001), SafeContractor, RoSPA Award, etc.
- Support completion of documentation to satisfy business tendering and customer requirements
- Promote health and safety excellence; develop awareness and a positive HSE culture across the business
- Provide sound advice to Line Managers with regards to implementation of business HSE requirements, ensuring consistency across the business sites
- Support the operation of reactive HSE systems incl: - incident management
- emergency evacuation
- first aid response
- environmental response


- L5/ L6 Diploma in Health and Safety
- NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
- Recognised to GradIOSH level
- IEMA Foundation – desirable
- PTLLS/ Level 3 Training and Education – desirable
- Experience working in similar role in manufacturing/ engineering environment
- Previous experience of ISO14001/ OHSAS 18001 beneficial
- Experience of running IOSH Managing Safely courses beneficial
- Previous experience of delivering workforce training
- Competent in the use of Microsoft products
