Places for People Leisure are looking for a Customer Advisor to join our team at West Bromwich Leisure Centre. Whilst contributing to our company’s mission statement – ‘To create active places and healthy people’, you will provide support to our prospective and current members. What your role will be As a Customer Advisor with Places for People Leisure you will become the first point of contract for all membership enquiries. From the point of initial interest you will go on to support the process of people joining the gym, this will include advising them on the best possible membership, completing documentation, guiding members around the facility, managing payments and managing customer expectations. You will work in line with the Places for People Leisure Membership administration manual, ensuring that correct processes are followed. Customer Service is at the heart of this role, as such you will maintain a supreme level of product knowledge on all aspects of West Bromwich Leisure Centre including timetables, facilities, prices and membership options. This is a target driven role, you will take responsibility for your own personal sales performance monitoring SLAs and KPIs closely. Within this role you will be expected to carry out ‘outreach’ work, you will go out into the public and encourage them to visit the Leisure centre advising them of all of the amenities. You will also be expected to attend public events. Your background To achieve in this role you will come from a successful sales background. Experience within a Leisure or membership sales environment would be deemed highly advantageous. Candidates who can show their passion and enthusiasm as well as an outgoing personality will excel in this role. To increase membership at the centre you will have the ability to make appropriate and effective decisions based on a sound knowledge.
