Salary: £9.95 an hour (+ £26.36 sleep in rate )

We are looking for Team Leaders to join our friendly teams in the midlands area. Our homes provide care and support for young people from the ages of 6 years old up to their 18 th birthday. We have services that would support young people with emotional behavioural difficulties, some learning or mental health requirements and specialist trauma services for young people that have been through levels of abuse in their life and require strong therapeutically led care.

Your new role
As a Team Leader, you will provide regular guidance, support and supervision to residential care workers, therapeutic practitioners to ensure that our young people receive high quality of care in accordance with the Ofsted requirements. You will be responsible for effective rota management, risk assessments, legalising with specialists and assisting the Registered Manager with the day to day running of the service. You will be required to work alongside our support services in clinical and education to support every young person and will have excellent communication skills. You will work up to 40 hours per week and work a mixture of days, nights and sleep ins and be on-call for any house emergencies.
What you'll need to succeed
To be suitable for this work you will need to:
•Hold Diploma Level 3 in Social Care as a minimum
•Have experience with providing support and care to young people or within the care sector with transferrable skills
•Awareness and basic understanding of the Legislation and Guidance relevant to young people in residential care..
•Ability to work shifts within a 24/7 day per week rota
