Due to business growth, a new opportunity has become available for a Sales Support Team Manager to join our growing AAH Sales division at Celesio UK in Coventry.

As the Sales Support Team Manager, he/she will be responsible for managing, motivating and inspiring a team of desk based sales support colleagues, accountable for providing field and customer support on issue resolutions to our Independent Pharmacy customers, and delivering an exceptional service experience.

A key element of this role will be to maintain and drive customer relationships both inside and outside of Celesio/AAH, as part of a defined contact or sales strategy. The successful applicant will act as a role model to the team and drive improvements both from a customer journey and business process perspective, ensuring that you develop long term successful relationships across multiple internal channels.

He/she will actively develop customer relationships in support of an account contact strategy, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by co-ordinating with an internal matrix team to ensure customer complaints, enquiries or concerns are dealt with promptly.

The Sales Support Team Manager will be expected to maintain knowledge of, and report upwards on, new developments in the market place, especially with regard to accounts and prospects. They will also be expected to use contact data to form insights that can be used to influence business change.

To succeed in this role, he/she will be confident in recognising and exploiting opportunities for pro-active service via a multi-channel approach (inbound, outbound & online), setting a vision and direction for the sales support team and aligning resources appropriately.

This opening is perfect for an ambitious Team Leader & Customer Service Professional with proven experience in delivering support to front line customers and resolving escalated issues.


The ideal applicant will have hands-on commercial experience across a range of sales/service functions, with a proven track record in delivering against a multi-channel strategy. He/she will possess a clear desire and passion to build a career within business development & sales, with an innovative approach to team and client relationships. Strong leadership skills in managing, motivating and coaching sales support colleagues along with expertise in resolving escalated issues is to be expected.

This opportunity will include business travel, so a full UK driver’s licence will be required.
