Macildowie are pleased to be working with an exceptional business, who operate across the country, who are looking to appoint a HR Business Partner to the HR team. This is a permanent role that will be located at their office based in central Birmingham. Our client, an entrepreneurial expert in the leisure and retail sector, are looking for a strategically focused Business Partner to join them as they progress through a continued period of growth. With a headcount of over 500 and ambitions to expand further this is a fantastic opportunity to join a business where you can add true commercial value to HR agenda.

This is a truly generalist role that will see the HR Business Partner engaging in all aspects of HR including, but not limited to, engagement, employee relations, recruitment and talent pipelining, learning and development and rewards and benefits. There will be real variety to this role as the HR Business Partner will work to ensure that the HR strategy is truly adopted into the operations of the business. You will partner with the senior managers across your business area and work closely with the wider HR team to devise a strong communications strategy to the business. Aside from the operational aspects to the role the HR Business Partner will work on a number of strategic projects aligned to cultural change and engagement.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a role to stretch them and ansd where they will gain true autonomy in their role. Working closely with the Head of HR you will have first line access to a valuable peer and partner for you to learn from. The ideal person must be able to demonstrate a strong coaching style, and be an engaging communicator able to achieve credibility quickly from senior managers. A strong generalist background is essential. Previous experience of operating as a Business Partner is essential. Level 7 CIPD qualified and expose to change management and transformation programmes are desired.

Importantly this person must demonstrate that they are invested in the HR function and are looking to work with a business and their team to achieve both commercial successes and an engaging environment for employees.
