12 month fixed term contract

Are you a motivated, pro-active individual that has a passion for supporting people with disabilities, learning difficulties and mental health conditions. Advance are looking to recruit an In-Work Support Advisor to ensure customers sustain in employment. To succeed in this role you’ll need experience working in a coaching, information, advice and guidance capacity, and ideally have a IAG qualification level 3 or 4. You’ll also have to demonstrate your abilities in running creative workshops, particularly those around job search, employability skills, career development and confidence building. You must have excellent team working ability and be able to work effectively in a quality and target driven environment.
Responsibilities also include working alongside BSL interpreters, Support Workers, Advisors, attending team meetings, networking events, and sourcing external training courses.
Advance is regulated by the Care Quality Commission and we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the people we support. You will be required to provide evidence of right to work. An enhanced DBS disclosure will be required for this role, the cost of which will be covered by Advance.
