Facilities Operations Manager
University College Birmingham seek to recruit a Facilities Operations Manager to join our dedicated Estates team, providing leadership in respect of facilities management activities across the University Estate.
The UCB estate comprises several properties including: McIntyre House (state-of-the-art Higher Education building opened in 2014), Summer Row (Higher Education building), Richmond House (Further Education building), The Maltings Halls of Residence (800+ rooms), Cambrian Halls of Residence (200+ rooms) and multiple holdings pending for development.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the delivery of soft services, ensuring that customer and student experiences are of the highest calibre.
In addition to relevant experience in a soft facilities or property management role, you will have effective people management skills, strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to deliver to deadlines working with competing priorities.
You will hold a Level 5 professional qualification and be willing to work towards membership of a relevant professional body (advantage if already held).
