You will be joining a team that delivers high quality person-centred care to
people living with dementia. Central to this, and to your role, is a duty to
ensure that the home is appropriately maintained, and that there is a flexible
and responsive service to residents. You will work under your own initiative
from the Maintenance List provided by the Home Manager – prioritising
tasks, requesting materials, carrying out daily checks, undertaking repairs or
replacements where necessary, and general upkeep of the property and
grounds. This could include minor carpentry, electrical, plastering, and
plumbing works.

We require dedicated applicants with a professional attitude, and that special
caring quality that sets them apart from the rest.

We strongly believe in developing the skills of our staff and offer an
extensive range of training courses.

Essential requirements:
Full clean UK driving licence

Desirable requirements:

Experience as a Maintenance Person / Operative / Handyperson or an
equivalent tradesperson with transferrable skills – e.g. builder, carpenter,
electrician, engineer, gardener, painter & decorator, plumber

Pinnacle Care Ltd:

We operate six residential homes in and around Rugby, Warwickshire.
Offering high quality person-centred care for people living with dementia and
related mental health needs. Through home care, day care, and residential
care – on both a respite and long-term basis.

We believe that each of our homes should provide residents with a friendly
and comfortable environment. This allows residents to have as much
flexibility as possible, provides a level of familiarity, and encourages activity.

We achieve this by working as far as possible to a number of person-centred
care principles and training our staff to a high level, to really understand
dementia.
