Administration Assistant - Telford & Shropshire Emotional Health & wellbeing servicePermanent 18 Hours per week initially - With potential to increase to 35 hours per week from 01 November 2017 £19,555pa pro rata.Location - Shropshire (*Please note that this service is currently mobilising. When fully mobilised the role will be based in Shropshire. However, during mobilisation, this can be negotiated.)The Children's Society has been helping children and young people in this country for over 130 years. We run local services that support children when they are at their most vulnerable and in desperate need of help. We're there for children, every step of the way. This role sits within our children and families directorate, which works to provide immediate one-to-one and group support for children who urgently need support. Your role will be to help us maintain and develop innovative practice to support our work in our services around the country. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to support a developing team and service within The Children's Society. You will provide a range of administrational duties, whilst working with a range of people within The Children's Society and external partners.You will have experience of working to deadlines, within a fast-paced business environment. You will have experience in operating integrated systems and processes and provide effective and efficient services to a range of people.The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:-Excellent organisational skills, working in a complex and demanding environment,-Excellent communication skills, including inter-personal communication, writing and telephone management,-Excellent project management skills and a completer-finisher approach,-Proven minute-taking skills. Shorthand would be an advantage,-Advanced IT skills in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, powerpoint and email. Experience in project management software would be an advantage.
