They operate within a diverse range of industries, including Water, Wastewater, Industrial Effluent, process, aerospace & electroplating sectors. With respect to dosing systems they sell a range of chemical dosing pumps, and also design and install a range of chemical storage & dosing systems. The common factor that covers the company’s business, is chemical engineering solutions. The standard Products Division is more of short term rental division for Customers requiring Temporary solutions
Overview of Role/Duties:Staff position, Birmingham internal office based, Supporting both standard products division of the business and technical services. Electronically preparing quotations to deadlines for our standard range of dosing pumps, and associated products. Initially working closely with our Standard products office manager to learn our costing and internal processes, with a view to ultimately becoming more self-sufficient, and ultimately developing to an internal Technical Sales Professional within this technical department at Gee’s. Often working from formal enquiry documents, outlining technical and commercial requirements, liaison with clients, and suppliers via telephone & e-mail, to ascertain requirements. Project managing Customer System rentals Also inputting and extracting data from our CRM system (Training also given). It is also envisaged that this individual will take technical & commercial responsibility pertaining to our fleet of chemical dosing packages for hire purposes.
Person Basic technical understanding/experience of mechanical/electrical engineering, is required. i.e. pipework, 3 phase Electrics It is envisaged that this individual could be a post graduate looking to develop a technical/sales career. Project Management Skills Experience with chemical dosing and/or water treatment industry an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given. Ability to read engineering drawings again a distinct advantage, and must be IT literate.Might suit somebody from Building Services, Facilities, HVAC backgroundWithin commuting distance of office. Own transport, or ability to get to the office required. It is imperative that you possess a good telephone manner, and generally good communication skills. Additional Information: Full product training upon our pump range will be given, initially this will be internal, but could also be to our manufacturing overseas suppliers within Europe. There will be significant potential for further development within the company. There are subsidised canteen facilities on site.
