Agricultural Property Partner/Partner Designate
Agricultural Partner/Partner Designate - No Following Required!
A very well respected leading regional practice is keen to appoint an Agricultural Solicitor to its envied Agricultural Team and be based at the firms' office in Worcester.
The firm has a solid rating within the Legal 500 and has a number of offices spread throughout Telford, the West Midlands, Shropshire and Worcestershire. With a headcount in excess of 200, the firm provides bespoke legal services across all disciplines to individuals, commercial entities and the farming community alike.
The Agricultural Team continues to receive an influx of instructions as a combination of servicing existing clients in addition to new client wins. The team comprises a number of people who are highly regarded within the agricultural community due to their wealth of experience in all areas of agricultural law which includes the buying and selling of farms, rights of way, farm business tenancies, farm related projects and also the agricultural tax framework.
The firm is keen to hear from an experienced Agricultural Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE to join the firm at either Senior Associate or Partner level (depending on experience). You will handle a broad portfolio of agricultural work with a bias towards tax, as well as play a fundamental role in the teams' expansion so you will be well versed in business development, marketing and networking.
Whilst the firm is happy to hear from those with a following, however large or small, unusually for a senior appointment, a following is not a pre-requisite, such is the level of work the team is instructed on.
This is a very lucrative position and the firm is proud to boast a very open culture. There is very little in the way of bureaucracy and red tape and certainly no politics at this firm. All of the partners get on well with each other and meet regularly throughout the year. The firms' retention rate is very high and the practice remains on a very sound financial footing.
This is the perfect opportunity for either an experienced Partner to take on a new challenge with the freedom to move without the need for a following or for a frustrated Senior Associate who is looking to take a step up and secure a role with a guaranteed path to partnership.
