FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR REQUIRED FOR AN IMMEDIATE START!! BASED ON THE OUTSKIRTS OF NUNEATON £17,000 + BENEFITS

My client is a well known organisation and due to expansion, they are now looking to recruit a Finance Administrator to join the organisation on a permanent basis. The role is pivotal to this growing finance department and offers career progression or the right candidate. The role will be dealing with Purchase Ledger queries including obtaining purchase order numbers and investigating discrepancies. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly expanding team, the business offer study support to help advance careers which will benefit the organisation.

[ The role ]

- Keep record of invoices received from drivers/vehicles
- Record income by vehicle
- Identify and chase any missing invoices
- Obtain purchase orders where required
- Deal with any rate queries (credit&re-invoice)
- Keep on top of missing or incorrect invoices
- Liaise with transport to obtain any missing rates
- File copies of invoices and run sheets
- Flag any late invoices or incorrectly completed/missing paperwork
- Flag any issues looking at ways to streamline the process

[ Person and skills required ]

- Previous experience within a finance/purchase ledger team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Accuracy and efficiency
- A willingness to learn new procedures/processes
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
